    Centre for the Iraqi media network (IMN)-Department of transportation
    contracted with a British company for a linking Iraqi airports and with
    the airports of neighbouring States through radio communication to
    facilitate flight and landings at all airports.

    The Director
    General of civil aviation authority of the Ministry of Bandar Nasser
    (IMN) that "the Department of transportation has contracted with a
    British company for a linking Iraq Interior airports airports of
    neighbouring States through radio frequencies", pointing out that the
    financial cost of the project amounted to $ 4.5 million (equivalent to
    about 5 billion dinars ".

    "All States neighbouring Iraq has
    agreed to link its airports with the exception of Saudi Arabia, which is
    still considering the offer," he said, adding that his Ministry will
    work to persuade Saudi Arabia to approve the project in the coming days.
    "

    Bender said that in the first phase of the project site survey
    in flight between Iraq and neighbouring States and identify landing
    points and aviation to facilitate flight operations in the identifying
    radio frequencies over the connection and landing from which it was 6
    months to complete the project.

    Iraq is seeking to develop its fleet air through his contract with international companies for the purchase of modern aircraft.
