The former member of the Iraqi Constitutional Drafting Committee, Tahir al-Bakaa, called on Saturday for a judicial inquiry to add articles that are not part of the constitution.
In a statement, Mawazine News received a copy of it. With the Constitution adopted, the version approved by the referendum contains only 139 articles while the approved version contains 144 articles, an increase of five constitutional articles.
He added: "The fourth paragraph of Article 142, which stands in the way of the amendment of the Constitution, which stipulates that" the referendum on the amended articles is successful, with the approval of the majority of voters, and if not rejected by two-thirds of voters in three or more provinces).
He cried: "I enclose herewith the last page of the draft constitution voted by the people in 2005:
Note 1: Article 142 is controversial and placed in the field of transitional provisions, like articles 132 to 144.
If it were part of the constitution voted on it would have been placed before the field of provisions. transition as a material original and not a transition governed by a time.
Note 2: Article 139 in the voter by the Constitution, which is the final article, was transferred to the established constitution , it became numbered 144.
Note 3: when you finish writing the Constitution issued a statement which proved my protests on the preamble to the Constitution Some of its controversial materials, and I printed a booklet on Jeriat writing the constitution and A_kalath. Not mentioned in my statement that materials 140-144 This means that they were not part of the Constitution at the time.
