{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Constitutional Amendments Committee held a meeting chaired by MP Faleh Al-Sari, Chairman of the Committee, and its members attended yesterday, Monday, to complete the discussion of the amendments to the paragraphs of the constitution, while hosting the Technical Director of the Institute of International Law and Human Rights.
A statement of the Parliamentary Information Department stated that "during the tenth meeting held in the House of Representatives within the series of ongoing meetings, a number of constitutional clauses were reviewed and discussed within the sections of the basic principles, rights and freedoms as well as studying proposals, ideas and visions submitted by deputies, experts and specialists in the fields of law, constitutional systems and proposals Citizens. "
The meeting presented "a detailed vision regarding the proposed amendments to mature them, the promotion of rights and freedoms at the civil and political levels, and affirming the consolidation of the concept of citizenship."
In the same context, the head of the Constitutional Amendments Committee, MP Faleh Al-Sari, received the technical director of the International Law and Human Rights Institute (William Spencer) at the committee’s headquarters, to discuss a number of points mentioned in the constitution and ways of cooperation between the House of Representatives and the International Law Institute to reach results that increase the impact of the constitutional clauses on more effectively and serve the Iraqi people. " In
turn expressed the Chairman of the Committee welcomed the cooperation between the two sides, stressing that the Commission is ready to receive all the proposals and discussed access to the results of more acceptable.
