Tishreen Revolution of Iraq and its youth in a symposium of intellectual and solidarity stand in Sydney

From Sydney to Iraq together to achieve the dream .. a pure Iraqi revolution
……………………………
In solidarity with the October October Iraqi Revolution, which was triggered by our youth and in protest against the horror of government repression against them, organized the Iraqi-Australian University Forum in cooperation with the Association of Iraqi Academics in Australia New Zealand, a cultural evening on the revolution entitled The Millennium Youth of Iraq… Who is it and why is it rising? ”Presented by sociologist Professor Maan Al-Omar to summarize his reading of the 2019 revolution and his analysis of the role of the youth that triggered it and the social structure of them.
The symposium witnessed a strong presence from various segments of Iraqi society and with good Arab participation, began by introducing Dr. Ahmed Al-Rubaie to his guest Dr. Al-Omar with the explanation of the role of the Forum in solidarity with the October Revolution and traffic on the importance of this revolution and its background.
Then he talked to Professor Al-Omar, who divided his lecture into five axes, in which he talked about the youth's social background, their pure Iraqi identity and their ideological involvement. The government imposes its laws and demands and the government follows it to seek its application.
In conclusion, Omar outlined the outcome of the youth revolution as a leader in the history of Iraqi movements, uprisings and revolutions and stressed its exclusive Iraqi identity.
He then opened the floor for attendees who alternated to enrich important aspects of the revolution and its youth.
It was a stand in solidarity befitting the youth of the new Iraq and exceeded a lot of enthusiastic speeches and slogans that may harm the revolution, especially as issued by those who want to ride the wave and channel it to their interests, whims and suspicious ideological associations.
It is worth mentioning that the symposium was held on Thursday, 28-11-2019 at 6:30 pm on Thursday 28 November.
Location: STARTTS Hall
