[size=45]US President Donald Trump confirmed today, Tuesday, that Qasim Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, who was killed by an American operation last Friday, was planning a major attack targeting American interests.[/size]
[size=45]Trump added that Washington was ready for any possible Iranian response to Soleimani’s killing, and stressed that Iran would suffer severe consequences if it made any response.[/size]
[size=45]He continued, that Qassem Soleimani was a terrorist responsible for the attack that killed Americans, and that his killing was the right thing to do.[/size]
[size=45]Then he continued that, with the assassination of Soleimani, America saved many lives.[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that his country has made it known to many countries for the killing of Qassim Soleimani.[/size]
[size=45]Regarding the withdrawal, Trump announced his desire to withdraw the American forces from Iraq at some point, indicating that his country would not consider imposing sanctions on Baghdad unless it treated it with respect.[/size]
[size=45]The US president also revealed that if his forces left Iraq, they would leave Iran with a much greater foothold.[/size]
[size=45]He added: "The American withdrawal will be the worst that could happen to Iraq." Finally, "Iraq must be able to protect itself."[/size]
