The Parliamentary Services Committee revealed, on Tuesday, the formation of a sub-committee in the coming days to investigate large strategic projects involving corruption, indicating that the most prominent of these projects are the Rusafa water project, Al-Khansaa project, the Army channel project, and the Jerusalem line project.
Committee member Alaa Al-Rubaie said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, “The Parliamentary Services Committee will cost a sub-committee consisting of a number of members of the committee in addition to investigators from the Integrity Commission and experts from the Financial Supervision Bureau to investigate major strategic projects involving corruption.”
Al-Rubaie added, “The most prominent projects that will be investigated are the Al-Rusafa water project, Al-Khansaa project, the Army channel project, the Jerusalem line project and other projects,” noting that “there is corruption that has affected these projects for many years and we will work on all files related to them to refer those involved to the judiciary.” Ended / 25h
