    The deputy governor of Basra, Uday Awad, on Tuesday, the formation of a temporary parliamentary committee includes a group of MPs to investigate the crisis in the province of Basra.
    Awad said in a statement, "The Speaker of the House of Representatives directed to form a temporary parliamentary committee includes a number of deputies from the province of Basra to follow up and investigate the crisis of the province."
    Awad added that "the committee will be its role to coordinate with the concerned authorities in the province to follow the crisis in Basra to provide periodic reports every fifteen days until the end of its work."
