    The information / Baghdad…
Arab website 21 revealed, on Saturday, the details of the Sunni alliances to contest the upcoming elections, indicating that the Sunni political map is being reconfigured from three main alliances, the first led by politician and businessman Khamis al-Khanjar, and the second led by former Iraqi Vice President Osama al-Nujaifi. And the third is headed by the current speaker of parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi. She explained that “Al-Halbousi is striving to run in the upcoming elections alone with the (Progress) party that he leads, and in all Sunni provinces (Anbar, Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, Diyala, in addition to Baghdad), despite some talk about the possibility of his entry into a longitudinal alliance (which includes all The components) with the leader of the al-Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, but this is not yet possible.
In a report reviewed by the information, the website quoted an informed political source as saying, “Khamis Al-Khanjar has made advanced understandings with the leader of the Al-Hall Party, Jamal Al-Karbouli, and the former parliament speaker, Salim Al-Jubouri, to announce an electoral alliance under the name (Iraqi Identity).”
The sources added, "The coalition seeks to attract many political figures; Because some of them preferred to form small alliances and enter the elections alone, such as the Falcons' Alliance in Salah al-Din Governorate, as well as the National Mass Party in the province itself.

As for the third coalition led by Osama al-Nujaifi, it was announced on February 25, under the name of "The National Rescue Project" with the politician and businessman Jamal Al-Dhari, and confirmed that "the nascent alliance will be open to everyone who matches our visions and goals.
The political sources indicated that the three alliances entered into a feverish competition to attract the largest number of parties and entities to them, in addition to the presence of small alliances at the level of one governorate between political and parliamentary figures, so there is still time for them before the election commission announces the closure of registration.
