MP for Al-Hikma Movement, Jasim Al-Bakhati, on Monday, suggested postponing the entire vote on the draft Federal Court bill to tomorrow's session for the purpose of completing the consensus for minorities, indicating that the start of today's session was postponed due to a meeting of heads of political blocs with minorities to resolve their entitlement and another reason Regarding the voting mechanism in the Federal Court.
Al-Bakhati said in a statement to / the information /, that “the reason for the postponement of today's session is an hour beyond its scheduled date, in order to enter the heads of political blocs and the Presidency with the Legal Committee in a meeting to resolve the controversy over the representation of minorities.”
He added that "representatives of minorities still insist that they have a judge representing them within the judges of the Federal Court, as well as the lack of agreement on the voting mechanism in the Federal Court because the Kurdish parties are still voting by unanimous and not by majority", suggesting that "no agreement will be reached today and will be postponed." Voting to tomorrow's session to give more time to reach an agreement. Ended / 25 AD
