    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]Member of the Parliamentary Communications Committee, Karwan Ali Yarois, criticized the lack of transparency and legal procedures in signing a new contract for the Ministry of Communications with the company. [/rtl]

[rtl]Yarois confirmed in a statement followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the Parliamentary Communications Committee, as the supervisory body responsible for following up on the work of the Ministry of Communications and the Communications and Media Commission, was not informed of any details related to this contract, which constitutes a violation." [/rtl]
    [rtl]"Clear constitutionality".[/rtl]

[rtl]"The body is considered independent and is subordinate to the parliament and our oversight committee according to the constitution and internal regulations, yet we have not received any information or details regarding the contract," Yarois said. [/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The contract was signed with a foreign company under the name of a national company, without announcing a tender or opening the door to competition."[/rtl]
