Today, Monday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the achievement of varying achievement rates in industrial cities in a number of governorates, while indicating that Dhi Qar topped the achievement rates.
Ministry spokesman Mortada Al-Safi said, "The Ministry of Industrial Estates Authority is the authority responsible for implementing industrial cities projects, as it undertakes many tasks related to establishing industrial cities and complexes, and facilitating all procedures that serve the investor with all relevant ministries and institutions." Al-Safi pointed out that the procedures for establishing industrial cities in the governorates of Najaf, Holy Karbala, Salah al-Din, Maysan and Diwaniyah are continuing, noting that “the authority is looking to establish industrial cities in all Iraqi governorates, and to establish new industrial projects that contribute to the development of Iraqi industry, creating job opportunities and strengthening the national economy “.
