Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, of Human Rights Parliamentary Committee announced that the Presidency handed over Victims of Justice law draft to the parliament to be read.
She stated to IraqiNews.com “After conducting the first reading of this law, Judges will be hosted to reach legal draft for this law since it is judicial,” noting that “Some articles will be transferred from the Innocents’ right to this law.”
“Our committee calls all sides to vote on this law to compensate those who were detained due to false notifications,” she added.
“This law is among the demands that the citizens call for at the current stage because of the misuse of the secret informer law,” she concluded.
