{Economic: Al Furat News} The Central Bank of Iraq decided, on Tuesday, to increase the housing sector allocations
And the bank’s media stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that “the management of the Central Bank of Iraq’s board decided to increase the allocations of the housing initiative to the Real Estate Bank and the Housing Fund by an amount of (2.6) trillion Iraqi dinars.”
He added, "The amounts were distributed at a rate of (1.5) trillion dinars to the Real Estate Bank, and (1.1) trillion dinars to the Housing Fund."
It is noteworthy that "the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq to support the housing sector contributed to solving an important aspect of the housing crisis in Iraq and brought about significant economic development."
