The Central Bank of Iraq decided, on Thursday, to increase the allocation to the housing sector to more than 1.9 trillion dinars.
A statement by the bank, which Mawazine News received / a copy of, stated that "the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Iraq decided to increase the allocation to the housing sector to more than (1.9) trillion dinars."
The statement added: "including (1) trillion dinars for the real estate bank and about (900) billion dinars for the Housing Fund, to raise their ability to make the initiative funds available to the largest number of beneficiaries."
He continued, "This brings the total amounts allocated to the Real Estate Bank and the Housing Fund to more than (3.6) trillion dinars." Ended 29/A43
