With imports exceeding $19 million, Iraq announces the volume of its oil exports to Jordan
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO" announced on Thursday that it exported about 300,000 barrels of oil to Jordan, during the month of November, with imports close to 20 million dollars.
The company stated in a statistic seen by Shafak News Agency, that "the average price of crude oil exported to Jordan amounted to $65,441 during the past month."
She explained that "the total oil exports to Jordan, during the month of last November, amounted to 299 thousand and 483 barrels, at a rate of about 10 thousand barrels per day, and the value of imports amounted to about 19.6 million dollars."
Iraq exports crude oil to Jordan at preferential prices, which are 12 to 14 dollars less than the original price, and they are exported via tanker trucks.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Iraqi Oil Ministry announced the total exports and revenues achieved for the month of last November, indicating that they exceeded 98 million barrels, with revenues exceeding 7 billion dollars, at a price of more than 77 dollars per barrel.
