    Information/Baghdad.

Representative Alia Nassif of the Integrity and Public Prosecution Commission demanded an investigation into a recently circulated video showing materials and equipment purchased by Iraq with millions of dollars for the Ministry of Oil that were abandoned in the Emirates.
And she said in a statement that the agency received a copy of it, "A video published by an Arab activist shows huge materials and equipment, many pipes, meter platforms and valves left in one of the storage yards in the Hamriyah region in the UAE, and according to the video it belongs to the Basra Oil Company as part of an escalation project." The export energies were purchased by the Ministry of Oil several years ago, with millions of dollars.”
And she indicated: “This equipment is subject to damage and extinction over time, and some of it has been subjected to theft or exchange, according to the publisher, and Iraq is obligated to pay storage fees for every day for 4 years.”
Nassif continued: “The interpretation of this case is as follows: Either the people who contracted to buy these materials are corrupt and thieves because they bought materials that the ministry does not need, or that the project for which the materials were purchased is fake or suspicions of corruption hovering around it, or that the case is only related to Neglect and waste of public money, but we suggest the hypothesis of corruption, and therefore we call on the Public Prosecution and the Integrity Commission to intervene to stop the waste of public money, it is your responsibility and you are responsible for the people’s money.” End 25
