The Counter-Terrorism Service confirmed today, Monday, that prison inspections and reconnaissance operations are an almost daily and continuous context, while stressing that no breach is allowed.
Spokesman for the agency, Sabah al-Numan, said, "The prison inspections that were recently carried out fall within the context of addressing the possibility of any terrorist threats and are within the intelligence vision of the Counter-Terrorism Service in predicting all the enemy's movements, including prison breaks or attempts by prisoners to carry out terrorist acts, similar to what happened in Al-Hasakah prison.
