Earth News/ The control teams in the second Diwaniyah sector of the Diwaniyah Health Department carried out, today, Friday, an inspection campaign on shops and public markets to follow up the extent to which shop owners adhere to health and preventive conditions and to follow up on the validity of foodstuffs for human consumption in Al-Daghara markets.
A ministry statement received by Earth News stated that, "during which, shop owners were informed of the need for all workers to obtain a medical examination card and a Covid vaccine card, as well as follow-up food safety and ensure its suitability for human consumption."
The statement added, "The campaign was accompanied by raising awareness and urging citizens and shop owners on the importance of receiving the Covid 19 vaccine and the need to adhere to preventive health measures to limit the spread of the virus."
