And she continued, "He was hugging me so tightly that I asked him if he needed or wanted something, but he denied it."
She said: "In the morning Ibrahim was not in his bed. I even tried to call his number, but it was switched off, so we decided at that time to call his close friend, but he did not answer, and then we learned from his relatives that he was also missing."
And she pointed out that "20 days later, she received a call from a foreign number, and it turned out that the caller was her son, and he told her, crying, that he wanted to return while he was in one of the ISIS camps in Iraq."
And she continued, "I tried to inquire of him about the reason for his escape to Iraq, and he told her that someone called him and told him that he was from the security services and that his name was mentioned in the terrorism files, and after that he advised me to escape."
Umm Ibrahim confirmed in her speech that "her son is not an extremist and does not recite all prayers, and it can be said that his religious commitment is almost normal."
According to the director of the Prisoner’s Rights Center in Tripoli, lawyer Muhammad Al-Salouh, “The issue started about 3 months ago, when the people of the area woke up and did not find their children, including Ibrahim, a vocational student and grantee after he disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and when his family went out to search for him, they discovered that other families She is looking for her children.
He continued, "The parents were then able to make sure that their children were outside Lebanon, but without knowing more details, and they informed the security services of that, and after about 10 days, the Army Intelligence managed to arrest five young men who were going to Iraq," noting that "they were then handed over to the security services." To the Mufti of Tripoli, Sheikh Muhammad Imam, and they were returned to their families.

Regarding the reasons that prompted the young men to flee, he said: "There are several reasons, including poverty, unemployment, and systematic neglect against Tripoli, and the most important thing is the fear of fabricating files."
Al-Salouh told the story of one of the young men, saying: "Among the young men who escaped is Alaa, who was previously arrested on charges of terrorism and released. After his release, he lived in difficult conditions, and the security services did not leave him about him, but were summoned every period and when any small problem."

He stressed that the fugitives from Wadi al-Nahla, al-Mankoubin, al-Qubba and al-Tabbaneh, pointing out that there are more than fifty young people who have moved to Iraq in the past months, in the absence of official statistics that confirm their numbers more accurately.
He continued, "3 months ago, and no judicial or security move took place," wondering how "dozens of young men escaped to Iraq and entered Syria and then reached Iraq, without the security services being aware of these moves."
He said: "The security services today are facing a test. Either they will reveal who are behind the black rooms that plot the plots of Tripoli, or they are participating, if indirectly, in this conspiracy, given that the security dealings with young people is one of the reasons that made them flee."
He continued, "I blame the security services and the Lebanese government and its head, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, the son of Tripoli, who did not give priority to this file," wondering about "the role of Tripoli's representatives and Dar Al-Fatwa in everything that is going on."
"Mawazine News" spoke to a Lebanese source familiar with the files of young men who joined ISIS in Iraq, and the source, who preferred not to reveal his name, said, "There are groups that exploit young men who have security files, as well as those who do not work in Tripoli, to recruit them and send them to Iraq, under the pretext of providing Salaries run into thousands of dollars.
He added, "The cost of smuggling a single young man from Lebanon to Syria to Iraq amounts to 7000 dollars, and this money is provided by groups linked to terrorist organizations, and they provide all material and logistical capabilities to smuggle them to Iraq, and this has been repeated during the past months."
He points out, "The organizations are taking advantage of the economic crisis in Lebanon, recruiting them and sending them to Iraq, and most of the young men are the ones who have security files, as well as the poor."
Tripoli is the second capital of Lebanon, a marginalized and poorest city.
Lebanon has been suffering for two years, the worst economic crisis in its history, with the collapse of its currency, the lira, along with the dollar, and a shortage of medicines, fuel and other basic commodities, with citizens unable to purchase their needs.
