, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rizan Sheikh Dler, confirmed that the voting process for the President of the Republic is not related to the number of seats for the Patriotic Union in the House of Representatives, but rather to the relationship of the Union with all political blocs and parties.
And Sheikh Dler indicated in a televised interview, which was followed by / Mawazine News /, that "the candidate for the presidency, Barham Salih, has great experience in the political arena, and according to statistics, the candidate of the Union has great chances of winning," explaining that "the National Union will not give up its candidate."
She pointed out that "the dispute over the selection of the president of the republic will not affect the situation of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan region," noting that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party is still committed to Hoshyar Zebari's candidacy for the presidency." Ended 29/A 4
