The independent popular bloc in the House of Representatives accused, on Wednesday, the Ministries of Water Resources and Agriculture of deliberate failure towards the Iraqi farmer.
The head of the bloc, Muhammad Anouz, said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the destruction of the agricultural sector in Iraq is the result of wrong decisions in the ministries of agriculture and water resources."
He added that "there are agricultural areas that do not need a high percentage of water that the Ministry of Agriculture can exploit by providing moral support to the Iraqi farmer and farmer."
Anouz pointed out that "arbitrary decisions towards the farmer would kill agriculture in Iraq," accusing the Ministries of Agriculture and Water Resources of "failure as a result of wrong decisions."
