    Earth News/ The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, affirmed today, Saturday, that the region is an important factor for stability in the region, and is always looking forward to building good relations with neighboring countries.
    A statement by the Presidency of the Region, received by Earth News, said that "the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, met today, Saturday, with consuls, envoys and diplomats of countries that have diplomatic representation in the Kurdistan Region."
    He added, "During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the internal situation in the Kurdistan Region, as well as the reforms initiated by the ninth ministerial formation, the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, and the latest developments in Iraq and the region."
    According to the statement, the Prime Minister spoke about "the efforts to form the new Iraqi government, in a manner that serves all Iraqi citizens and the various components, and contributes to achieving peaceful and security stability in Iraq."
    The Prime Minister indicated that "the Kurdistan Region is continuing to work to build the best relations with the federal government and to resolve all outstanding issues fundamentally and on the basis of the constitution."
    He touched on "the regional government's work program aimed at diversifying the economy, increasing revenue sources, reducing expenditures, reorganizing taxes, facilitating the work of foreign and local investors and digitizing services, in an important step for developing and strengthening cooperation between government institutions in a modern and modern way, and reducing corruption through a system through which government spending is known." daily in an electronic, transparent and clear manner.
    Bazani stressed that "despite the political differences in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, this did not reflect negatively on the performance of the regional government. On the contrary, the cooperation and coordination between the members of the ninth ministerial formation is good."
    The Prime Minister reiterated, "The Kurdistan Region is an important factor for stability in the region and always looks forward to building good relations with neighboring countries, and improving its relations with the international community in general," noting "the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation with the Kurdistan Region to confront the threats of ISIS terrorists, especially in the Kurdistan regions outside the administration of the region, which is to end the security gaps in those areas and activate the joint security coordination centers between the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army.”
    On another topic of the meeting, the Prime Minister referred to “the issue of immigrants, in addition to the measures taken by the government to put an end to illegal immigration.”
    At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to the interventions of the consuls, envoys and diplomats, and answered their questions and inquiries.
