, Minister of Defense, Jumaa Inad, confirmed, on Saturday, that the international coalition and friendly countries had an important role in the liberation of Mosul.
And Enad said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it: "Oh honorable Iraqi people, heroes in our valiant armed forces with all its formations and types, today the fourth anniversary of the liberation of the beloved city of Mosul from the clutches of evil and dark forces represented by ISIS terrorists passes."
He added: "
And on this occasion, the minister continued: "On this occasion, I extend my congratulations and blessings to the Iraqi people, to the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to our rational religious authority, to the heroes of the armed forces of all kinds and formations and the rest of the forces supporting them in the liberation operations, and to the forces of the international coalition and all friendly countries for what They showed great support and constructive cooperation to ensure Iraq's success in liberating Mosul."
He continued by saying: "Today I stand in homage and gratitude to our righteous martyrs who sacrificed souls for the freedom of their country and the liberation of their people, and I pray to God Almighty to cover their pure souls in the vastness of his gardens."
And Enad concluded: "I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all the wounded heroes for the sacrifices they made for the sake of the homeland, praying to God Almighty to grant them recovery and health. Every year, Iraq, its people and the dear sons of Mosul are a thousand good, security and peace. You are in God's care and preservation."
