    The representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Ziyadi, confirmed that successive governments created many pretexts, which were the reason for not delivering petrodollar dues to the oil-producing governorates.
    Al-Ziyadi told Al-Maalouma, "The deprivation of services, the development of the southern governorates, and the failure to obtain their entitlements was the result of the financial policies of successive governments."
    He added that "Iraq owns four oil-producing provinces and is supposed to get their due from the petrodollar, even though its oil is sold through the SOMO company responsible for exporting oil."
