The Energy Committee of the Wasit Governorate Council stressed during its periodic meeting of the Petrodollar on the financial entitlements of Wasit to the production of oil and gas that the province can not waive our entitlements to the petrodollar law for any reason.
"The province can not give up its dues in the petrodollar law for any reason, and the purpose of the ongoing follow-up by the energy and petrodollars committee in Wasit is to preserve the acquired rights of Wasit province from oil production," said the head of the Wasit al-Aqaili Energy Committee at the meeting.
She pointed out that "the current situation amid the suspension of most strategic service projects and expand the powers of the future to maintain the framework of the relationship between the federal government and local governments in the management of oil and gas file, calling for seeking these benefits faster because it is a legitimate and legal entitlement for the sons of Wasit.
