The independent representative, Yasser and Tut, stated, on Monday, that the independent representatives are embarrassed in front of the people by the exchange rate of the dollar, explaining that the deputies are working to interrogate all ministers and we will not compliment anyone at the expense of the citizen.
Watout said in a statement to the Information Agency, that "the independent representatives are embarrassed in front of the Iraqi people, and we will work to interrogate all ministers and dismiss them in the event that suspicions of corruption are proven against them," noting, "We independent representatives are embarrassed in front of those who voted for us, and we will not compliment anyone at the expense of the people."
He added that "the citizen suffers from high food prices as a result of the rise in the price of the dollar, especially the employee who was prevented from any increases or rewards two years ago," noting that "independent deputies are working to interrogate everyone without exception."
He pointed out that "the rise in the price of the dollar came without prior planning, which directly affected citizens through the rise in local markets and materials."
Member of Parliament Jassem Al-Alawi had confirmed, earlier, that the supervisory authorities and those responsible for economic security are standing by and watching the manipulation of the citizen's power.
