Shafaq News/ The Secretary-General of Kata'ib Hezbollah (one of the armed Iraqi Shiite resistance factions), Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi, refused, on Sunday, to support one party over another in the Russian-Ukrainian war, noting that the two parties are "unjust."
Al-Hamidawi said, in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, that "the military actions that Eastern Europe is subjected to heralds a difficult phase that will pass on the region, but rather on the whole world," adding, "In the midst of these events, one party should not be supported over another, because the two parties are unjust." ".
He pointed out that "Russia and before it the Soviet Union are no less bloody than Europe and America, and their Crusades throughout history are nothing but evidence that they have no covenant or sanctity over blood, honor or money, and they are not governed by values or principles."
