On Friday, an independent candidate for the position of President of the Republic said that he was not informed of the date of the session and how to reach the Iraqi parliament.
And the independent candidate for the presidency of Iraq, Kamal Aziz Qaytoli, said in a statement that "until today, no one from Parliament has contacted us as candidates for the presidency of Iraq to tell us about the time of our attendance and programs, as well as a permit and permission to enter Parliament for the parliament session for tomorrow, Saturday, to choose the President of the Republic."
Qaitouli demanded, “Members of Parliament should intervene and ask the responsible parliament administration to inform us of this information and required instructions.”
