[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Independent deputies announced a boycott of the parliament session scheduled to be held today, Thursday, in protest against the inclusion of a proposal to amend the provincial councils law in the agenda.
The representative of Najaf Governorate, Hamid Al-Shablawi, said, in a press conference, that "the agenda for today's session, Thursday, was published late in the evening of yesterday night, Wednesday, which is a different matter instead of distributing it to the deputies 48 hours before the specified date, as if the large blocks had enough numbers.” to pass any law.”
He added, "Independent deputies and emerging movements boycotted the parliament session, and signatures were collected to withdraw a proposal to amend the Provincial Councils Law from the council's agenda, as it does not reflect the management of the masses and does not meet their aspirations, and is contrary to the directions of the religious authority that rejects such an unjust law that confiscates the will of independent deputies and the rights of citizens choose who represents them in the House of Representatives, as well as gives the blocs and large parties the dominance of decision-making.”/ End 5[/rtl]
