The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath Surji, confirmed, on Monday, that there are no discussions or rapprochement between the political parties currently, regarding the file of the Presidency of the Republic.
In an interview with Mawazine News, Sorji said, "We are waiting for the end of the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday so that there will be a political breakthrough and a new round of talks."
He added, "Talking about a compromise candidate or giving up (candidacy) Barham Salih is out of the question, and that the leadership is sticking to his person." Ended 29/N33
