    Today, Sunday, Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri explained the reasons for the delay in the implementation of two projects to convert areas in Ghazlani camp into an investment project and the implementation of Mosul Airport, while revealing the most important completed projects and projects under implementation that it is hoped to open at a later time in the health, roads and bridges sectors.
    Al-Jubouri said, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Council of Ministers, earlier issued several directives related to the governorate, many of which were implemented, but there are main paragraphs that are still being implemented, such as the file allocating the remaining space from Al-Ghazlani camp to the Mosul municipality to establish a project." An investment, as the matter is in the custody of the State Real Estate Department in the Ministry of Finance.
    He added, "The camp lands have not yet been transferred to the Nineveh Governorate municipality, which has caused delays in many promising projects, especially in the field of investment and building housing units there."
    Mosul Airport
    He pointed out that "the Council of Ministers has not yet issued a final decision regarding the Mosul airport project, and the governorate is waiting to obtain permission to launch the project from the governorate's allocations, especially since the full statements of the project have been completed and all things conform to the requirements of the aviation authority."
    He added, "The governorate has submitted proposals, in the event that the French loan is still valid, so the airport project will be international."
    He explained, "The campaign to rebuild Mosul is one of the frozen projects and will be launched soon," noting that "it is hoped that the 1140-meter-long al-Kwer Bridge will open in the coming weeks, which connects Mosul to the Kirkuk governorate mainly, as well as linking it to areas in Erbil governorate."
    Opening of several bridges next August
    He added, "Within the month of August, the fourth main bridge will be completed by the Turkish company, and the fifth bridge by the Egyptian company, Side Kamel," stressing that "the rest of the bridges are completed, such as the third bridge, the Freedom Bridge and the iron bridge, and within a month the bridge parallel to the iron bridge will be completed. In addition to two other bridges on the Al-Khawser River, one of them was completed in the Al-Falah neighborhood and another bridge in the Al-Faisaliah area connects the iron bridge with Al-Faisaliah on the Al-Khawser River. The left bank of the Tigris, which serves many villages in Tal Afar, Rabi’a, and the entire western region.”
    Completed Schools
    Al-Jubouri indicated that "the number of completed schools reached 335, as well as 92 schools on the Chinese loan, and 14 schools were initiated by the implementing companies," noting that "the city of Mosul is witnessing a great service development."
    Health Services
    He pointed out that "the large health complex, the hospital with a capacity of 100 beds in Rabia, has been completed, and the equipment for its preparation has arrived from abroad, and what remains is only to connect the complex to the emergency line to be ready to provide service to the people northwest of Nineveh," stressing that "work is underway at Al-Hussein Hospital in Tal Afar." As well as a complex and a hospital in the same district with a capacity of 200 completed beds and ready to provide services, in addition to a completed health complex in Al-Baaj.
    Additional health projects
    He added, "35 model health centers have also been completed in various parts of the province, and the research center hospital has been completed, in addition to the start of the arrival of devices for the hematology hospital from outside Iraq, and in the meantime, the doctors plan to take a training course on the devices, and within the next three months, the hospital will be He is ready with all his services.
    He added, "There are many hospitals being built, such as Al-Batool Hospital with a capacity of 200 beds, and an emergency hospital on the right side with a capacity of 100 beds, as well as the completion of the left emergency hospital, and the opening of a 100-bed hospital in the Sukar area, in addition to Ibn Al-Atheer Hospital with a capacity of 100 beds for children. And soon it will be received."
    He pointed out that "the general hospital on the right side and the alternative location of Ibn Sina Hospital provide services well for the people, as well as parts of Al-Salam Hospital that operate and provide services, and work is underway in the German Hospital in the governorate, and a hospital has been established near it with a capacity of 100 beds for children."
