Shafaq News/ Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi called today, Tuesday, to support the outcomes of the Iraqi-Egyptian-Jordanian tripartite summit and to start "practical and realistic steps" in it, while the Jordanian Prime Minister indicated that the stability of Iraq is stability of the region.
The Media Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi and his accompanying delegation met, today, Tuesday, with the Jordanian Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, and the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and the emphasis on strengthening joint security and economic cooperation bilaterally, and within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism with Egypt".
During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed "the importance of supporting the outcomes of the tripartite summit, and starting practical and realistic steps, which will reflect positively on development and stability."
For his part, the Jordanian Prime Minister expressed that "the tripartite, Jordanian-Iraqi-Egyptian summit contributed to strengthening joint cooperation," stressing "his country's support for Iraq, and everything that contributes to achieving security and stability," noting that "the stability of Iraq represents stability for the region."
On August 11, 2021, the Jordanian capital, Amman, hosted a Jordanian-Iraqi-Egyptian meeting to follow up on the outcomes of the tripartite summit of Jordanian King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, which was held last June in Baghdad, and related to humanitarian work and its implementation mechanism.
On June 27, 2021, the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, witnessed the work of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian tripartite summit, hosted by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi at the summit, the Jordanian King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
