LABOR REVEALS CASES OF BLACKMAIL FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The head of the Authority for People with Disabilities and Special Needs, affiliated with the ministry, Ahmed Hadi Baniya, said in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by the news agency, that "the requests received by the authority included all governorates and will be distributed according to the percentages and numbers allocated to each governorate in order to grant people with disabilities their rights and privileges in a fair and equitable manner." The number of applicants to register on the electronic form for the privileges of Law No. 38 of 2013 exceeded 50 thousand applicants during the past two weeks.
He added, "The ministry is coordinating with the Ministry of Health, the Medical Committees Department, to create specialized medical committees to accommodate the numbers of applicants, and they will be notified electronically by a text message on their phone number specifying the date for reviewing the medical committees," noting that "the link to submit the form was open during holidays and Eid al-Adha." And outside the official working hours for the purpose of giving way to persons with disabilities for the purpose of registration and not to overcrowd.”
And he indicated, "The authority warned against dealing with any party, website or social networking pages other than the link specified by it, and it is not responsible for any blackmail that the citizen is subjected to in this regard by those authorities."
He pointed out that "the end of the current month of July is the deadline for closing the door for submitting the electronic form
