Today, Sunday, the Trade Bank of Iraq announced the reduction of the interest on the car purchase loan from 8 to 5 percent, while noting that all citizens should apply for it.
And the media office of the bank stated in a statement that "it was decided to reduce the interest of the (my car) loan from (8%) to (5%)," stressing that "all citizens, whether employees or non-employees, are included to apply for this loan for the purposes of purchasing cars."
He added, "The condition of the sponsor for employees of the permanent owners whose salaries are domiciled with the Trade Bank of Iraq has been canceled," calling "citizens to review the headquarters of the companies contracting with the bank for the purpose of choosing the car and receiving the nomination letter for the car chosen by the citizens."
He also called for "reviewing the bank branch to apply for granting the loan and handing over the car's nomination letter," noting that "the repayment period of the loan amount is (5) years with a decreasing interest of 5 percent."
He continued, "To see the mechanism of granting the loan and the headquarters of the car companies contracting with the bank, visit our website."
