The leader in the coordination framework, Jamal Hassan, confirmed, on Friday, that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani has established 5 tracks to combat corruption in the security system.
Hassan said in a press statement, "Corruption is a rampant phenomenon in all Iraqi state institutions and its causes are multiple.
" He added, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani laid out 5 important tracks to combat corruption in the security system. Its first stages began with the dismantling of the oil smuggling mafias in the south, which contributed to the rhythm Many of those involved in it, including senior officers," stressing that "work is underway in other sectors,"
noting that "tackling corruption in Iraq's most important institutions needs time, but we hope that the measures will result in overcoming a very complex problem that directly affects security."
