Iraqi planning: an increase in the inflation rate by about 5% for the year 2022

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Planning announced today, Sunday, that the Central Statistical Organization has monitored an increase in the monthly inflation rate during the last month of the past year 2022 (last December), at a rate of (0.3%), compared to the previous month of October.
The ministry's official spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, explained, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency; This rise resulted in an increase in the prices of the entertainment department by (2.4%), the department of miscellaneous goods and services by (2%), and the transport department rose by (1.5%).
The statement pointed out that "the annual inflation rate during the year 2022 recorded an increase of (4.9%)."
