    Planning: The monthly inflation rate decreased by 0.1% and annual rate by 0.7% for the month of November last
    The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday that the rate of inflation during the month of November last month by (0.1%) compared to the month of October, while the annual inflation rate during the period from November 2016 to the same month of 2017 increase by ( 0.7%). The decline in the monthly inflation rate was attributed to the decrease in the housing sector by 1.9%, the transport section by 0.1% and the entertainment and culture section by 0.7%.
    "The base inflation index fell by 5.0 percent from the previous month, while it rose by 1.2 percent compared to November 2016," the official spokesman of the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi, said in a statement. The percentage of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by (1.2%), contributing by (459.5%) to the rate of monthly change. The changes are due to the increase in the meat group by (0.7%) compared to November 2016 when it reached (103.6%). (0.1%). And the rise of milk, cheese and eggs by (0.3%) because of the high prices of eggs.
    "The group of fruits increased by (2.0%), the vegetables group increased by (5.2%), the sugar group increased by (0.2%) and the sugar products increased by 0.2% The tobacco department maintained the same level of monthly change rate. "
    Al-Hindawi added that "the clothing and shoes section increased by (1.9%) to contribute by (159.5%). This increase was due to the increase in the clothing group by 2.0% and the shoes group by 0.7% (1.9%) to contribute (721.6%) to the rate of monthly change due to the decrease in the records of the group maintenance and services of housing (0.5%) and the supply of water and electricity by (14.5%) for the low wages of generators.
    "Household equipment and maintenance increased by 0.1%, contributing 8.1% to the monthly change rate due to the increase in prices of household appliances by 0.1% due to seasonal goods. (16.2%) in the monthly rate of change.
    On the other hand, the Transport Department recorded a decline of 0.1%, contributing 20.3% to the monthly change rate, while the Communication Department maintained the same level of monthly change. The Recreation and Culture Section recorded a decline of 0.7% (14.9%) due to the decrease in the prices of travel tickets, while the Education Department increased by (0.1%) to contribute (-1.4%) in the rate of monthly change.
    "The Department of Restaurants maintained the same level of monthly change, while miscellaneous goods and services increased by (0.2%) to contribute (12.2%) to the rise in gold prices."
    The official spokesman of the Ministry of Planning said that the annual change for the month of November 2017 compared to November 2016 was affected by the recording of the food and non-alcoholic beverages sector (1.7%) to contribute (80.1%) to the annual rate of change. (1.0%), meat group (1.2%), fish group (16.8%), milk, cheese and eggs (1.5%), oil and fat group (1.4% 3.8%) and sugar and sugar products decreased by (0.1%).
    "The tobacco department recorded a decrease of (0.2%) to contribute (-0.3%) in the annual rate of change, while the clothing and footwear section increased by (0.4%) contributing 4.1% (0.5%) and the prices of the shoes group increased by (0.1%) due to seasonal goods. The Housing Department recorded a rise of (3.3%) contributing 149.3% in the annual rate of change due to the rise in rent group prices by 0.8% Water and electricity by (34.4%) and fuel group by (0.5%), compared to the decrease of equipment and household equipment and maintenance by 1.3% 5%) in the annual rate of change due to the decrease in the prices of furniture and equipment by (2.5%) and the decrease of household appliances by (0.7%).
    The Department of Transport recorded a rise of (0.2%), contributing (4.8%) to the annual rate of change, while the communication department recorded a decrease of (0.7%), contributing 5.3% The Education and Culture Section recorded a decline of 2.5%, contributing 6.9% to the annual rate of change. The Education Department recorded an increase of (19.7%), contributing by (1.3%) to the annual rate of change. (0.6%), contributing 1.6% to the annual rate of change. The miscellaneous goods and services section increased by 1.7% 12.4%) in the annual rate of change ".
