The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday that the rate of annual inflation during the last year 2018 decreased by 0.1% and monthly by 0.6%.
The ministry spokesman Abdel-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "The rate of inflation during the last month of the year 2018 decreased by 0.6%, compared to the month of November, while the annual inflation rate is also the decline by 0.1% compared with the month of December of 2017.
He attributed the decline in inflation during the month of December to "the decline of food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.1%, the housing section decreased by 0.7%, the transport section by 1.7%, and the hotels and restaurants by 0.1%," noting that "inflation The basis fell by 0.3% from the previous month and the same percentage compared to the month of December of 2017.
