Iraq and Japan are discussing a draft agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries

{Local: Al Furat News} The Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Planning held a joint meeting with Chargé d'Affairs of the Japanese Embassy in Baghdad, Masamoto Kenichi Hori from the Economic Section of the Embassy
And the media of the Ministry of Planning stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, that "during the meeting, a number of files of joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed."
"This meeting comes within the framework of seeking to enhance joint development cooperation between the two sides, discussing the progress made in the draft agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries, and reviewing tracks of future Japanese technical support to Iraq," said Saher Abdulkadhim Mahdi, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation in the ministry.
