Baghdad / Obelisk: Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi announced, on Monday, his country's support for Iraq's efforts to rebuild the country in all respects.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated, “Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi met Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in his office in Tehran.”
He pointed out, "During the meeting, they discussed common issues related to the security aspect between the two neighboring countries."
The Iranian president stressed, "Tehran's support for the efforts made by Iraq to rebuild the country in all respects."
While the Minister of Defense appreciated “the Iranian Republic’s support for Iraq and its people, especially during the liberation battles against terrorism.”
