Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani announced the most important points of the semi-annual report for the implementation of the government program, stressing that the remaining contracts will be dealt with in the 2023 budget. In an interview with Mawazine News, Al-Sudani said in an interview about the most important points of the semi-annual
report for the implementation of the government program. "The government has set priorities in its ministerial program," stressing that "the summary of government action is the implementation of the programme."
He added that "we worked during the first six months without a budget," noting that "we set out with a realistic vision of the country's needs and citizen's priorities."
He continued, "Priority and focus were on the contents of five," explaining that "we set a priority to improve services and projects lagging behind for various reasons, including corruption."
He pointed out that "one of the most important files that have been completed is the launch of the fifth round of oil and a complementary and sixth round for the first time to invest gas in Iraq," stressing that "the completion of 25 different health institutions."
He continued, "The government has completed 414 schools in Baghdad and the provinces, rehabilitated 270 km of external roads, and we opened the Yusufiya-Dora road."
He stressed that "the Karbala refinery project will provide Iraq with 3 billion dollars," noting that "work continues on service projects."
And he added, "We started with a successful experience, which is the service engineering effort project," adding, "We invested small amounts within the budget of the Prime Minister's Office for the service effort within 26 projects and 30 campaigns."
He stressed that "the solution to the housing crisis is the establishment of integrated residential cities, and we announced 5 cities in Baghdad and the provinces, as most of the residential complexes previously were not available to the middle and poor classes," explaining that "35 service projects are for the first time in Baghdad and will represent a quantum leap in the environmental problem." .
He pointed out that "we have embarked on the digital transformation and automation of citizens' transactions, and we have launched the national strategy to correct the course of education," stressing that "we have put in place a quick plan that there is no budget to complete maintenance in all power stations, as all of our power stations operate without exception."
He pointed to "the signing of contracts with Siemens and GE for early maintenance of power stations," noting that "the station cooling system provided 700 megawatts."
And he indicated that "without levying, we will not be able to provide continuous electric energy," explaining that "the government has started activating the health insurance law for 300,000 citizens."
And he added, "The government has developed a new drug policy with producers to add production lines to provide medicine from a testable national product," noting that "the poverty rate in Iraq has risen for several circumstances, including Corona and corruption."
The Prime Minister affirmed: "The launch of the largest social research campaign targeting two million poor families, of which 1.4 million families have been completed," noting that "the dues of 492,000 families have been received with social welfare salaries."
He continued, "The government has recovered 150 billion dinars from families who do not deserve social welfare salaries," stressing that "this amount will be transferred to those who deserve it."
And he indicated that "the government launched 100,000 loans for the included families to provide them with private work," stressing that "more than 600,000 contracts have not been proven, and we have taken decisions to achieve job stability for them."
And he stressed that "the remaining contracts will be dealt with in the 2023 budget," stressing that "the government will work to include all workers in the private sector with social security."
He added, "The government launched a pioneering initiative, and we obtained more than 180,000 requests to join online to train young people," adding that "we have worked on radical reforms to combat corruption according to honest institutions."
He pointed out that "corruption is the most prominent challenge to all government policies and programmes, and we work in accordance with the constitution to combat it and not diligently."
He stressed that "the government has contracted with international companies to audit financial and exchange policies, and has made recovering wanted persons a priority in its relations with abroad."
And he indicated that "the international community is obligated to help Iraq recover the wanted persons," noting that "oil smuggling is one of the big files related to corruption."
He pointed out that "the government has cut off the bleeding of public money by arresting a network of oil smugglers," noting that "there is an important follow-up to money laundering and terrorist financing."
And he stressed that "with the presence of the unified storage account, state funds will be linked and we know where they were spent," noting that "the theft of the century is one of the blatant files of appropriation of public money in collusion with partisan and official institutions by stealing 3.7 trillion dinars."
He pointed out, "We cannot mortgage the fate of the country with oil," stressing that "work is continuing to rehabilitate the iron and steel plant in Basra, as well as the rest of the factories and industrial cities."
And he stated, "The agricultural season is the most successful in Iraq, and we have achieved self-sufficiency," stressing, "We have maintained that the citizen is not affected by the high cost of processing the ration card, and we have a strategic store of flour."
He pointed out, "We faced the issue of fluctuations in the dollar price, which was not implemented by previous governments, as we reached trade that enjoys the confidence of international standards," stressing that "the state insists on providing the official price of the dollar for all citizens."
And he stressed, "Whoever goes to the parallel price, he either has money laundering or suspicious trade," noting, "The government approved the Iraq Fund for Development in the tripartite budget."
And he indicated, "The state has put the private sector in the forefront," pointing out, "The development path project is promising and transforms Iraq into a country open to the world and represents the most important economic corridors between East and West."
