Cleanliness.. Security and electricity.. Why do Baghdadis move to residential complexes? Compared to Basmaya, the Gate and the Star
Baghdad - 964
Many Baghdad residents now prefer to move to new residential complexes, because of cleanliness, electricity, and complete safety, according to a number of those interviewed by the 964 network, who compared the features and facilities available in three complexes: Iraq Gate, Najmat Baghdad, and Basmaya.
the details:
The capital, Baghdad, witnessed the establishment of dozens of residential complexes during the last decade, which varied between giant vertical residential complexes such as Iraq Gate, Al-Ayadi Complex, Bismayah City, and other medium-sized vertical complexes, all the way to small complexes within residential neighborhoods.
Some residential complexes relied on the horizontal construction system of houses and villas, such as Budoor Baghdad, Najma Baghdad, Shanasheel Baghdad, and others.
The locations of these complexes vary between the city center and its outskirts, or in locations within other residential areas.
Baghdadis now prefer to live in this type of residential building for reasons related to security and services in the first place, with other reasons related to the size of expenses and real estate prices in the complexes.
Network 964 compared a number of residents of these compounds to find out the reasons for their preference to live in them over their previous areas.
A resident of the Iraq Gate Complex, to the 964 network:
Living in a residential complex is better than living in other areas for several reasons, foremost of which are services and the security aspect.
The matter is not related to the financial level, as is rumored, but living in a complex that is subject to a specific system and managed in a professional manner will save the residents from many troubles.
In terms of security, the complex has an integrated security system. A large number of security personnel in the complex manage the process of organizing the entry and exit of guests around the clock. No one can enter the complex without prior authorization or by adding him to the list of permanent guests at the request of one of the residents.
You cannot hear of the occurrence of a crime or theft, for example, because of the measures taken in the complex 24 hours a day, cameras in every corner and in every building and floor, and a security man near every building who alternately watches with his colleagues around the clock everything that happens here.
Most of the residents of the complex are families with a medium or high social level, because whoever lives in such a complex does not want to be exposed to social problems that occur in other areas, such as clan disputes and disputes that occur in overcrowded residential areas.
The service rate is fairly reasonable, we pay $90 per month for security and general services in the complex, with the same rate for other areas.
The prices of water, electricity and sewage services are the same as those paid by the residents of the rest of the regions, as they are determined by the concerned departments.
The complex depends mainly on national electricity, with generators that operate as soon as the power goes out, and rely on a system of charging cards.
The cost of monthly generators does not exceed their cost in other regions. In July and August, for example, I paid about 160,000 dinars per month with continuous operation of most of the apartment’s appliances, while in my previous area I used to pay 300,000 dinars per month for 12 amps only to ensure the operation of two air conditioners (inverters).
Cleaning continues around the clock, whether inside or around the buildings, in the corridors and public squares.
The complex lacks green spaces and needs more organization of parking spaces, as the designated spaces for them are not sufficient for the number of cars of the residents and their guests.
There is a pharmacy, markets, a car wash station, and samoon ovens in the complex, but it needs some other services, such as a barbershop, a bakery, and a swimming pool, for example. We are waiting for all of them to be available.
