    Information/private..
Today, Thursday, a member of the House of Representatives, Kazem Al-Touki, proposed a solution to resolve the Khor Abdullah agreement file and settle the issue between Iraq and Kuwait, while confirming the existence of proven historical evidence and documents.

Al-Touki said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that “the Iraqi government is required to take all diplomatic measures to resolve the issue of border demarcation and the Khor Abdullah agreement with the Kuwaiti side.”
He added, "Kuwait is a neighboring country to Iraq, and there are previous problems, so it is better to solve them, without tension or media escalation, and greatly aggravating the situation," pointing out that "the two countries must resolve the issue diplomatically."
The member of the House of Representatives explained, “There are historical documents and proven evidence, on the basis of which the Federal Court declared the Khor Abdullah Agreement invalid,” stressing: “The government or the House of Representatives has no right to violate the Federal Court’s decision.”
Earlier, the former Minister of Transport, Wael Abdel Latif, confirmed that the Khor Abdullah Agreement, after the decision of the Federal Supreme Court, had been cancelled, indicating that “what is built on falsehood is false.”
During his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister announced the validity of the agreement to regulate maritime navigation in Khor Abdullah and the security swap protocol, despite the issuance of an Iraqi decision to cancel them.
The decision of the Federal Supreme Court regarding the invalidity of the Khor Abdullah Agreement signed between Iraq and Kuwait sparked the anger of many Arab parties, especially Kuwait itself, and the subsequent movements at the international level, heading to New York and seeking the help of America to denounce it and try to cancel it.
