The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced that the “Arzaq” service includes soft loans for two categories.
The media advisor to the Minister of Labor, Kazem Al-Atwani, said in a statement to the official agency, followed by ( IQ NEWS ), that “the (Arzaq) service includes two sections, the first related to the Department of Labor and Vocational Training, as all job seekers (the unemployed) can apply for these loans through Careers platform.
He added, "Applying for loans has become easy after the mechanism was transformed from paper to electronic, as the citizen can apply and complete all procedures electronically and then receive a text message that his application has been accepted, after which he visits the Ministry."
He continued, "The other part of the (Arzaq) service relates to the Social Protection Authority, where only beneficiaries of the authority can apply for the soft loan in order to establish his own project, develop his income, and dispense with social subsidies," noting that "the subsidies will continue for a period of 3 months for project owners who benefit from The Social Protection Authority aims to complete the project during this period in all respects.”
He pointed out that "the loans launched within the Arzaq service will be in the amount of 20, 30 and 50 million dinars," noting "the formation of specialized committees to follow up on projects with their owners and assist them, in addition to not allowing loans to be taken without the existence of a real project."
