     An official source in Anbar Governorate revealed, on Monday, details of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani’s thwarting of the largest electoral promotion operations for the Taqadum Party in the city of Fallujah.

    The source said in a statement to the Maalouma Agency, “Al-Sudani instructed to stop the distribution of 3,000 residential plots of land by the Fallujah Municipality Department, against the backdrop of the intention of the Taqadum Party, led by Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, to use them for his party’s electoral promotion operations to win over the Anbari street and force them to elect the party’s candidates.” ".
    He added, "The leaders of the Taqadum Party planned to launch the process of distributing plots of land to various segments and succeeded in postponing it several times until the elections were close, but the party leaders were shocked by the presence of a circular from Sudanese to stop the distribution processes until the end of the elections."
     He pointed out that "the Anbar local government is currently almost dysfunctional due to the preoccupation of its officials with electoral campaigns, as some government institutions were devoid of the presence of the director and his assistant, amid the issuance of instructions from Al-Halbousi to intensify advertising and electoral campaigning for the party's candidates and hold mass gatherings to win over the Anbari street, leave their administrative positions and take to the street for the sake of continuity." Communicating with citizens in conjunction with the approaching start of the elections.”
    He explained, “The leaders of the Taqadum Party pledged to their fans to include large numbers in the process of obtaining plots of land, but Al-Sudani’s decisions dashed their dream and postponed their distribution until the end of the elections.” Ended / 12a
