    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Member of Parliament, Ali Al-Lami, confirmed today, Thursday (February 15, 2024), that the government has followed the “work chain strategy” in Iraq, noting that approximately 1,500 projects will be implemented during the current year and will provide 60,000 job opportunities.
Al-Lami said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", "The situation of services in all governorates is difficult and raises many question marks despite trillions of dinars being spent on thousands of projects, but the picture reflects misery and great accumulations in light of the reluctance of not a small part of them."
He added, "The Sudanese government has placed within its basic program the provision of services and overcoming the mistakes of previous stages by reviving lagging projects, combating corruption, ending intersections between ministries and agencies, and seeking to propose 1,000-1,500 projects during 2024 within schedules that will soon be submitted to the House of Representatives to include all governorates without exception." ".
He pointed out that "the government's adoption of the work chain strategy in the country in terms of facilitating the mechanisms for implementing projects and referring them to completion without any obstacles, accompanied by opening greater doors to providing opportunities, represents a priority for achieving three goals: overcoming past mistakes, providing job opportunities, and thus economic revival, with the proposal to integrate employees." In projects implemented by foreign companies to gain experience.
He continued, "The 2024 projects will provide no less than 60,000 job opportunities in multiple jobs, which means further recovery for various professions and a reduction in unemployment and poverty in the governorates, albeit by not large percentages."
The tripartite budget allocated more than 47 trillion dinars to investment projects, divided by 38 trillion dinars from the budget, and more than 9 trillion dinars for projects financed by foreign loans for each of the three years.
