Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the need for Baghdad projects to be compatible with the general direction of the government program, while stressing the importance of working in an integrated manner between the governorate’s agencies and their counterparts in the Baghdad Municipality and the ministries.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by Mawazine News Agency, "Al-Sudani received the new governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Ali Al-Alawi," indicating that "Al-Sudani blessed the choice of the governor and his carrying out his duties."
The Prime Minister stressed "the importance of the responsibility that awaits those who hold this position, and the breadth of requirements that the citizen expects to be met."
The Prime Minister reiterated "the need for governorate projects to be compatible with the general orientation of the government program, and its service and economic priorities, especially since the scope of responsibility assigned to Baghdad Governorate agencies will witness many strategic projects and major infrastructure projects, all of which will benefit the residents of the city of Baghdad."
He pointed out "the necessity of working in an integrated manner between the agencies of Baghdad Governorate, and their counterparts in the Baghdad Municipality and the ministries, in order to shorten time, mobilize efforts, make the most of the allocations, and set service targets in a realistic and thoughtful manner."
