    Shafaq News/ The Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, said on Thursday that the federal government is working with the Kurdistan Regional Government to grant all the region’s entitlements in accordance with the constitution and laws.
    Al-Araji's speech came in a statement he made to reporters after his meeting with the Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, who is currently visiting Baghdad.
    The National Security Advisor stated in his statement, “The Baghdad-Erbil understanding brings additional strength to a united, federal, and independent Iraq, and therefore there are many points of common understanding,” adding, “We work together to give all the entitlements to the Kurdistan Region in accordance with the Iraqi constitution and laws.”
    He added, "The atmosphere is good and positive, and I believe that the visit of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, and his meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani will be fruitful and positive."

    In turn, Masrour Barzani told reporters, "His visit aims to resolve the differences and outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil, and to consolidate good relations with the federal government, which is now on the right track."

    Meanwhile, the regional government said in a statement that during the meeting (between Al-Araji and Masrour Barzani), the security situation in Iraq in general was discussed, especially addressing the dangers of terrorism and its ongoing threats, while emphasizing the need to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the regional government and the federal government. In this area.
    The Iraqi National Security Advisor pointed out that the Kurdistan Region is a constitutional region, and its strength is considered a strength for Iraq and vice versa, which requires a better relationship between the region and the federal government.
    In turn, Masrour Barzani praised the good coordination between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government on the security level, and he also expressed his hope that this coordination would be reflected in all other fields, according to the regional government’s statement.
    The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, arrived in Baghdad on Thursday morning to hold discussions with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and a number of senior officials in the federal government, in addition to meetings with leaders and leaders of political forces.
    A statement issued by the regional government stated that Masrour Barzani’s meetings during his visit will address the latest developments on the political and security arenas in Iraq, and will emphasize resolving the outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, especially securing the salaries of the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and ensuring their financial rights and entitlements.
    According to the statement, the discussions will also discuss enhancing cooperation and joint coordination, to ensure security and stability for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
