Shafaq News/ Foreign remittance sales at the Central Bank auction, on Tuesday, increased by 87% over cash sales, reaching more than 246 million dollars.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank sold today during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar 279 million 109 thousand and 6 dollars, which it covered at a base exchange rate of 1310 dinars per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards, and at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar for external transfers, and at a price of 1305. Dinars per dollar in cash.
Our correspondent added that most of the dollar sales went to strengthen balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, which amounted to 246 million 569 thousand and 6 dollars, an increase of 87% over cash sales amounting to 32 million 540 thousand dollars.
