    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Hard currency sales through the Central Bank of Iraq window today, Wednesday, amounted to 78.2 million US dollars, a slight increase compared to sales on Tuesday, which amounted to more than 71 million dollars.
And as the window for selling hard currency showed, cash sales exceeded sales of foreign remittances, due to the lack of interest of merchants to buy dollars from the Central Bank for fear of registering their names and imposing taxes on them as merchants.
Foreign remittance sales amounted to more than $35 million, or 44% of total sales, while cash sales amounted to more than $43.2 million, or 56% of total sales.
